Content is King!!
As far as both search engine rankings and the website visitor is concerned - CONTENT IS KING!! There's been, and will continue to be, many a debate on whether website content or backlinks are more important with regards to search engine rankings. Here, at Webrouser, we've more than ten years' experience in website copywriting and we know how to do it properly.
Our argument is simple:- if the user has arrived on any given page on the site through the search engines then the content of that page MUST say 'we do what you searched for'.
Now we tell the user how good we are at doing what he searched for and ask for some kind of interaction (i.e. a contact or buy now).
You'd be surprised how many so-called web marketing specialists can't comprehend the above.
Search engines thrive on website content - backlinks can do more harm than good (see our backlink page), but well written website copy is worth its weight in gold.
